The Rosselkhoznadzor has restricted the import of poultry meat from Poland
The Rosselkhoznadzor imposed restrictions on import to Russia of poultry meat from Poland in connection with the deterioration of the epizootic situation concerning highly pathogenic avian influenza on the territory of this country, the press service of the Ministry.

Since February 7, temporarily banned the import into Russia of products from the Warminsko-Mazurskie province of Poland.
The ban for supplies of poultry meat, finished meat products of poultry and all kinds of poultry products, containing products of poultry processing. An exception is provided for products, which ensures destruction of the virus.
It is reported that, as affected by avian flu regions, the Rosselkhoznadzor considers also Lublin, West Pomeranian, greater Poland and lower Silesian Voivodeship, Poland.
