Sea ports of Russia from the beginning of the year reduced the transshipment of grain by 10%
The turnover of goods of seaports of Russia for January-February 2020 amounted to 132.4 million tonnes, which is 0.7% higher than in the same period last year, the press service of the Association of sea trading ports of Russia (ASOP).

The volume of transshipment of dry cargo amounted to 54.9 million tonnes (down 2.3%), including: coal, 24.9 million t (+0,2%), cargoes in containers – 9.1 million tons (+5.4 percent), grain 5.5 million tons (-10,3%), ferrous metals – 4.5 million tons (-11,2%), mineral fertilizers – 2,5 mln tons (-18,1%), ore and 1.6 million tonnes (+31.1 per cent).

The volume of transshipment of liquid cargoes increased to 77.5 million tons (+3,0%), including crude oil up to 44.5 million tons (+2,9%), petroleum products – 26,1 million tons (+1.2%) and liquefied natural gas to 5.8 million tonnes (+10.6 percent).

Export cargo is overloaded 104,1 million tons (+1.0 percent), import cargoes – 5,6 mln tons (+1.1 percent), transit – 11.1 million tonnes (+2,3%), cabotage – 11.6 million tons (-3,1%).

Operators of sea terminals of the Arctic basin handled 16.4 million tons of cargoes (-4,2%), including dry cargo – 4.4 million tons (-12,0%) bulk cargo – 12.0 million tons (-0,9%). Cargo turnover of Murmansk port amounted to 9.7 million tonnes (-9,1%), Sabetta – 4.8 million tonnes (+12,0%) and Arkhangelsk – 0.5 mln tons (+39.8 per cent).

In the Baltic basin transshipped to $ 43.0 million tons (+5,3%), including dry cargo – 16.5 million tons (-2.5%), liquid cargo – 26.5 million tonnes (+10.9 per cent). Increased the volume of cargo handled in the port of Ust-Luga to 17.9 million tonnes (+4.1%) and Primorsk – to 11.2 million tons (+22,6%), Big port St. Petersburg- to 9.2 million tonnes (+2,4%).
 
Azov-black sea basin handled 39.3 million tons (-3.8 per cent), including dry cargo – 14.3 million tonnes (-4,5%), liquid – 25,0 million tons (-3,4%). Cargo turnover of Novorossiysk port totaled 24.9 million tons (-3,2%), Tuapse – 3.9 million tonnes (-10,2%), Taman – 3.3 million tons (+15,2%), Rostov-na-Donu – 2.6 million tons (+15,8%), Kavkaz – 1.8 million tons (-20,3%).

In the Caspian sea region transshipment amounted to 1.4 million tonnes (+46,7%), including dry cargo – 0.6 million tonnes (+41,6%), bulk cargoes – by 0.8 mn tons, a growth of 1.5 times). The volume of cargo handling port of Makhachkala grew by 1.7% to 1.0 million tons, Astrakhan 2.7% to 0.4 million tons.
 
The far Eastern basin transshipped – 32.2 million tons (+1,8%), including dry cargo – 19.1 million tons (+1,1%), liquid cargoes 13.1 million tons (+3.0 percent). Increased the turnover of the ports of the East – to 12.3 million tonnes (+8,7%), Nakhodka – to 4.3 mln tons (+6,4%), suburban – to 3.1 mln tons (+14,0%) and Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky to 0.3 mln tons (+27,0%). At the same time decreased the turnover of the port Vanino – to 4.3 mln tons (is 10.8%), Vladivostok – to 3.4 million tons (forecast to be minus 4.6%) and De-Kastri to 2.2 million tons (-3.8 per cent).
