The Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation on Friday on the background of the coronavirus suggested from 1 April to 30 June 2020 non-tariff quota in the amount of 7 million tons for export from Russia outside the EAEU wheat, rye, barley and corn.
"Minpromtorg has supported and agreed the proposal of the Ministry of agriculture of Russia on the introduction from 1 April to 30 June 2020 non-tariff quota in the amount of 7 million tons for export from Russia outside the EAEU wheat, rye, barley and corn", — reported in the Ministry of industry.
The press service also pointed out that the agreement with the Ministry of industry and trade of the draft decree on the introduction of quotas is necessary because the Ministry is a Federal body of Executive power exercising functions on the application of non-tariff regulation measures.
