According to the Minister, in the near future it is likely the beginning of a phased exit in various sectors of economy from the mode restrictions associated with the spread of the coronavirus. Agriculture, fishery, food and processing industry as a whole continued to function, however, the removal of restrictions can also affect agricultural producers. In this regard, it is necessary to plan the strengthening of preventive measures at the enterprises of agroindustrial complex. "Moreover, it is clear that the restrictions will not be lifted everywhere at once, and full resumption of the functioning of all the organizations across the country at one point not going to happen. Therefore, we have to jointly consider how to help agricultural producers to preserve margins. It including assistance in finding markets for a further period", - said the head of the Ministry of agriculture, authorizing further work on this issue jointly with the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, including in the framework of the "hours of control", which is currently carried out every day in the Ministry.
 
During the meeting, the regions provided information on food availability and prices, availability of labor resources in agriculture, develop agricultural insurance and carrying out of meliorative actions. According to the subjects, at present the situation on food markets stable, the volume of production to meet demand, no significant price volatility in basic foodstuffs.
 
One of the Central themes of the meeting was the bringing of state funds to the ultimate recipients that, according to Dmitry Patrushev, is a critical issue for agricultural producers in the current environment. On April 30 subjects brought to farmers about 26 billion rubles, which is 21% of the total limit. In a number of regions have not started this work, and in 14 regions, bringing not exceeded 10%. The Minister heard reports by representatives of regional agricultural administrative bodies in this area and urged them to quickly take appropriate measures.

In addition, the participants discussed the progress of the sowing campaign. Today spring field work has already started in 58 subjects. In some regions of Siberia and the Urals and the South of the country, sowing began earlier multiyear terms, are ahead of last year. In the southern, North Caucasian and Central Federal districts already planted more than 55% of the planned areas. Dmitry Patrushev indicated the willingness of the Ministry of agriculture together with the regions to consider problematic issues while conducting seasonal works and, if necessary, to provide additional support for their decision.
