The Federal Antimonopoly service continues to struggle with the violations of the Antimonopoly legislation among the elevators. About it the Agency said Tuesday, may 26.
The service monitors the activities of the elevators for such violations as setting monopolistically high prices for services, the imposition of unfavorable terms or set unreasonable rates.
After the intervention of the FAS and Prosecutor's offices a number of organizations have reduced rates for storage and shipment of grain. Rostov OFAS opened a case on irregularities, OOO "Millerovoselmash".
"In the fight against the pandemic COVID-19 we cannot allow unreasonable growth of prices for services of elevators. Unfair behavior of some market participants threatens the implementation taken by the Government of the Russian Federation of measures on realization of state agrarian policy", — said Deputy head of FAS Russia Pavel Zaborschikov.
Earlier FAS has already sent to the address of the keepers of the Federal intervention Fund of agricultural products reminder about compliance with antitrust laws.
