Including in the southern Federal district spring sowing carried out on an area of 4.9 million ha or 85.3% of the forecast, in the North Caucasian Federal district – 1.7 million hectares, or 92.3% of the forecast, in the Central Federal district 8.9 million hectares or 94% of the forecast, in the Volga Federal district – 14.6 million hectares, or 93,4% to the forecast, in the Siberian Federal district – 11 million hectares or 90.1% of the forecast, in the Urals Federal district 3.6 million hectares or 82.2% of the forecast, in the North-Western Federal district – 277,1 thousand hectares, or 60.1 percent of the forecast in the far Eastern Federal district – 1.2 mln ha or 52% of the forecast.

Spring grain crops in the whole country planted on an area of 27.2 million hectares or 93,3% of the forecasted area (2019 – 26.2 million hectares).

Of these, spring wheat was sown on the area of 11.8 million hectares or 96.5% of the forecasted area, spring barley – 7.4 mln ha or 94% of the forecasted area, corn for grain and 2.8 million hectares or 101.6% of the forecasted area, rice – 163,1 thousand ha or 82,6% of the forecast area.

Sugar beet (factory) were sown 930,3 thousand ha or 98,5% of the forecast area.

Flax planted on an area of 41,1 thousand hectares or 84.4% of the forecasted area.

Sunflower planted on an area of 7.6 million ha or 94.1% of the forecast area.

Spring canola is planted on an area of 1.1 million hectares or 84.7% of the forecast area.

Soybeans planted area of 2.2 million hectares, or 70.1% of the forecast area.

Potatoes in the agricultural enterprises and peasant (farm) planted on the area of 243 hectares, or 78.7 per cent of the forecast area.

Vegetables in agricultural enterprises and peasant (farm) planted on an area of 144,4 thousand hectares or 77.9% of the forecast area.
