General Director of the cooperative company "Latraps" Edgar Ruzha rassazat that removed the grain fit only for feed. "This rainy season hasn't been ten years. In some areas harvested less than 10% of fields, and all the members of the cooperative have removed the 25%, while the quality is such that grain is suitable only for animal feed", — anxiously said, Indulis Jansons.

Representatives of the cooperatives said that the insurance will not cover unplanned expenses, as the validity of the insurance policies expire when the grain is ripe.
