According to operative data of the Federal customs service of Russia on August 17, 2016 2016/2017 in the current agricultural year exported crops 3 630 thousand tons, including wheat – 2 976 thousand tons, barley – 589 thousand tons, corn – 39 thousand tons, other crops – 26 thousand tons. On 22 August, reported the press service of the Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation.

As of 18 August 2016, the average export price of soft wheat in USA (Gulf of Mexico) amounted to 167 USD per ton. During the week the price increased by $6 per ton (+3.7 per cent).
