The Chechen Republic has completed the harvest on winter and spring bean crops, for the first time in 12 years following the indicators of the state program on development of agriculture. This was announced by Deputy Minister of agriculture of the Republic Magomed Elmurzaev.

"Basically today ended the harvest on winter and spring bean crops. For the first time in 12 years we have fulfilled the indicators in the state program of development of agriculture. Collected grains and pulses, excluding corn and rice, of 315.5 thousand tonnes in the indicator in 302,9 thousand tons", — he said, noting that it is also planned to collect 20 thousand tons of corn and 6 tons of rice.

"Such results were achieved thanks to the decision of the head of Republic on the transfer of unprofitable state farms to investors. For three years the private person is obliged to pay all the debts of the economy, to fulfill the indicators of the Ministry of agriculture of Russia, after which the property remains leased this farm. Last year accounts payable for the state farms amounted to more than 600 million roubles, in one year we reduced it by 50%", — said M. Selmurzaev.

He also stressed that high yields have been achieved despite adverse weather conditions. As a result of heavy rains that fell in June this year, the farmers of the Chechen Republic suffered considerable damage. In all areas charged more than 30 thousand hectares, 20 thousand - grain and more than 1 thousand of row crops.
