The meeting was devoted to discussion of topical issues in the field of interaction of the competent authorities aimed at the establishment of effective trade grain products, reported IA "Kazakh-Zerno" in the press service of the Ministry.

During the meeting the Deputy Head of the Rosselkhoznadzor Ruslan Khasanov said that Russia and Thailand have broad prospects for developing mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of mutual deliveries of agricultural products and bilateral investments in the agricultural sectors.

To this end, in the course of negotiations the parties agreed on the text of the Protocol regulating the supply to Thailand of Russian grain and products of its processing, which may be signed within this year after consideration by the diplomatic departments of the two countries.

Deputy Director General of the Department of agriculture of Thailand Sermsuk Salakphet thanked the Rosselkhoznadzor for the organization of the visit of the Thai delegation to Russia, which provided familiarization with the scientific and technical potential of the Rosselkhoznadzor subordinate Centre for grain quality assessment and the all-Russian center of plant quarantine, as well as visits to bakeries in the Moscow region.
