According to the Canadian grain Commission (CGC), for the week 19 to 25 September, Canada exported only 161 thousand tons of wheat.

Exports for the first eight weeks of the current season, which began in August, totaled 2,249 million tonnes, which is 29% lower than the same period last season.

The volume of export of soft wheat fell 36% to 1,845 million tons of Export durum wheat increased by 45% to 0,403 million tonnes.

According to estimates of the USDA, the export potential of canadian wheat and durum in the current season is 21.5 million tonnes, which is 3% less than in 2015/16.
