IGC: forecast of global trade in flour increased

The world's largest importers of wheat flour will be Iraq and Afghanistan's milling industry which has suffered due to wars and political instability. Afghanistan imports of 2.2 (2,14) million tonnes, which is the highest, at least over the last few years. Import of flour to Iraq will amount to 2.1 (2,0) million tonnes.

The third in the world in the import of flour is a Uzbekistan – 1,15 (1,2) million tonnes.

One of the largest importers of flour will also include the countries of Africa located to the South of the Sahara, like Sudan – 850 thousand tons and Angola – 640 thousand tons, Syria and Brazil to import 500 thousand tons.
