This is almost 4 times higher than the grain harvest of 2009, when it collected a total of 30 thousand tons. As have informed in a press-service of administration of the region, this was stated by the Governor of the Pskov region Andrey Turchak at a solemn meeting of workers of agriculture and processing industry of the region.

In addition, in the Pskov region on 23% increase in meat production (up to 170 thousand tons), the increase in milk production and productivity of dairy cattle in the farms.

Also in the current season were collected 135,9 thousand tons of potatoes and 33.1 thousand tons of vegetables in open and protected ground.
