Recall that currently, feed wheat is up to 25% of the total volume of grain purchased by Vietnam in foreign markets, however, demand for milling wheat will also rise in connection with changes in the structure of nutrition of the population.

It is worth noting that, according to traders, the average purchase price of wheat on the world market is currently lower than corn, which increases the interest of the Vietnamese feed producers and millers that is to feed wheat.

However, the key supplier of grain to the country, likely to be Australia, which under the terms of the agreement on free trade between the countries duty-free export of grain to Vietnam, while importing wheat from other countries is subject to 5% customs tariff.
