In the framework of the tender Japan plans to purchase a total of 95,555 tons of wheat.

In particular it will be purchased:

— 16 140 Western belozernoe tons of wheat from USA (delivery is planned from may 21 to July 20);

— 35 430 tonnes of Northern spring (dark) of US wheat with a protein content of at least 14% (deliveries scheduled from may 21 to July 20);

— 18 705 tons hard red winter (HRW) wheat from the United States (deliveries scheduled from may 21 to July 20);

— 25 280 MT of Western red spring (CWRS) wheat from Canada 25 280 MT of Western red spring (CWRS) wheat from Canada (deliveries scheduled from June 21 to July 20).

The end of the tender for the procurement of wheat will take place on 20 April.
