For corn, the estimate of world production has also been reduced by 1 million tons – up to 1,025 billion tons, which is much lower than the current season (1.07 billion tones). The expected decline in grain harvest in China to 213 (215,2 million tonnes) and the EU to 60.2 (61) million tonnes, to a certain extent will be offset by the improved prospects of the crop in Argentina, where the updated estimate increased to 41 (39,8) million tons.
