Of the total amount of harvested grain 946,32 thousand tons was wheat, 680,91 thousand tons of barley, informed the press service of the Ministry of agriculture.

According to the report, during the reporting period the crop was harvested on an area of about 600,06 thousand hectares.

"Sowing period sowing area for grain totaled 954,74 thousand hectares, of which 626,28 thousand hectares are wheat and 328,46 thousand ha – for barley. As of 6 July, the crop was harvested from 62.9% of the sowing area of grain", – is spoken in the message.

It is noted that the yield per hectare amounted to 27.1 per quintal, wheat is 29 quintals per hectare and for barley to 24.9 centners from hectare.
