According to the analytical Agency Agridatos, the wheat crop in Paraguay in 2017 could be reduced by 30% in comparison with last year's level, due to adverse conditions, the ongoing in most parts of the country, according to Agrosouth News.

Recall that the harvesting of grain in Paraguay, traditionally begins in October-November, and if the forecast is justified, the country will not be able to export as planned, about 350 thousand tons of wheat to Brazil.

Experts also Agridatos reported that the Paraguayan traders plan to establish export prices for wheat of the new crop at $240-250 per tonne.
