Grain of Commerce of Iraq to the tender, the results of which were announced on 6 August, has purchased 50 thousand tons of Australian wheat.

Traders offered US wheat for 302,02-307,20 $/ton C&F, the cheapest offer was made at a price 299,19 $/ton C&F. But Iraq chose Australian grain.

Canada, although was included in the shortlist of the tender, as a possible supplier, but offers of canadian wheat in the end did not arrive.

We will remind that on tender on 10 July, the Iraq purchased 50 thousand tons of Australian hard wheat at a price 318,77 $/ton C&F.
