Forecast of the export of rice from India, also adjusted down to 10.5 million tons compared to 10.8 million tonnes last year.

Domestic consumption of rice in the country is estimated to reach to 99.3 million tons, higher than the previous season to 1.3 million tonnes. The forecast of ending stocks of rice in the state is reduced slightly, to 17.6 million tonnes.
