The increase in the rate of export due to high demand from a major customer of canadian barley of China. During the period under review, Canada has put in this direction 714 thousand tons, which is three times the amount of export over the same period last season.

In this season, China chose to reduce imports of barley from such a large provider as the EU up to 220 thousand tons (-32%), as well as to abandon the purchase of the Argentine proposal (32 thousand tonnes during the period under consideration last season).

While Ukraine was able to increase its market share in China in the current season, increasing the supply of more than two and a half times to 788 thousand tons, overtaking Canada.
