Wheat prices moved up 3.4.

European wheat markets were steady overnight. Traders indicated that wheat crops are flourishing in Germany and much of France while the outlook in Great Britain remains grim. Spain continues to see favorable conditions as well with steady moisture patterns. French markets got a lift from the 400,000 tonnes of Algeria business, Tunisia is tendering, and negotiations are ongoing with Libya. The EU granted export licenses for 247,000 tonnes of soft wheat this week, taking the year to date total to 17.6 million tonnes as compared with 12 million tonnes for this time last year.
