Ministry of Economic Development suggests not to freeze tariffs for the population
Head of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Alexey Ulyukayev made an offer not to freeze tariffs for the population and to index them at the government meeting where a draft of the federal budget for the next three years is discussed.

  • Head of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Alexey Ulyukayev at the
    government meeting suggested to freeze tariffs of monopolies in 2014 only for
    industrial consumers, and for the population to index tariffs in 2014-2016 with
    inflation of the previous year with decreasing coefficient 0,7.

  • The decision has to be reflected in a draft of the budget for the next three years
    which has to be presented in the State Duma till October 1.
