Grain growers reduce harvest forecast, Ministry of Agriculture holds a level
The Russian grain union and the International grain council speak about decrease in harvest volume in Russia, whereas the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation is optimistic.

President of the Russian grain union Arcady Zlochevsky at a press conference in RIA Novosti news
agency lowered the grain yield forecast in Russia in 2013. He didn't call exact
figure, but told that grain collecting will be less than 90 million t, forecasted earlier.
The international grain council also lowered the forecast of grain production in Russia
in the current season from 85,8 to 85,3 million t. Export is predicted at a
level of 18,8 million t.
Meanwhile Minister of Agriculture Nikolay Fedorov being at the investment forum in Sochi,
declared that the Ministry of Agriculture doesn't reduce the harvest forecast
(90 million t) and grain export (20 million t).
