Fedorov made a report to State Duma
Nikolay Fedorov told to deputies of the RF State Duma about harvest forecasts and about results of implementation of the state program on development of agrarian and industrial complex.

  • Yesterday, on
    November 13, the State Duma of the Russian Federation heard the report of Agriculture
    Minister of Russia Nikolay Fedorov on results of implementation of the state
    program on development of agrarian and industrial complex in 2008-2012 and on
    the current situation in the branch.

  • Addressing deputies, Nikolay Fedorov noted that the Ministry of Agriculture expected growth of agricultural products output. According to experts, the index of production will make about 105%.

  • The forecast on grain collecting remains at a level of 90 million t. According to
    the minister, this volume, taking into account final stocks, "will allow to completely meet demand of domestic market for grain and to have an export potential up to 20 million t". Last year Russia exported a little more than 18 million t, having imported 126 thousand tons.
