The Minister of agriculture of the Russian Federation Nikolai Fyodorov again proved to be one of the last in the list of popular Russian Ministers, reports the portal vesti.ru. According to the data of the all-Russian center for public opinion studies (VTSIOM), the most popular Ministers of the Russian government, judging by the results of the sociological survey, became defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and head of the Foreign Ministry Sergei Lavrov index of awareness of the Russians about the activities of 77 and 50 points, respectively.

Nikolay Fedorov has got in a little-known group of Ministers in the company of Minister of construction and housing and communal services Michael Menem, the Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich, chief of the government staff Sergei Prikhodko, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov, Deputy Prime Minister - Plenipotentiary of the RF President in the far Eastern Federal district Yuri Yury Trutnev, Minister of labour and social protection Maxim Topilin, energy Minister Alexander Novak, Minister of economic development Alexey Ulukaev and transport Minister Maxim Sokolov.

Index of awareness about the work of Ministers were drafted, based on the answers of Russians to the question, do they have over the activities of this or that member of the Cabinet. The respondents were offered four possible answers to choose from: "follow closely the activity of the Minister", "not specifically monitored, but heard about it from various sources, last name familiar, but, what exactly does not say, "heard nothing".

The index is calculated as the difference between the responses of people who had heard of the Minister, and nothing is heard about the Minister and can take values between -100 and 100. The higher the index value, the more aware the Russians about the activities of this Minister.

Assessment of the work of Nikolai Fyodorov also allows it to include to outsiders of the Russian government.

The VTSIOM polls held on June 21-22 and 28-29 June 2014. Each of them was involved 1,600 people in 130 towns in 42 regions, territories and republics of Russia. The statistical error does not exceed 3.4%.

In April of this year the all-Russia centre of studying of public opinion (VTSIOM) has published the rating of approval of the government, according to which the Minister of agriculture Nikolai Fedorov was included into the four of the most unpopular in the country members of the government, having 2,89 points out of 5. Then it was noted, however, that the ratings of all of Ministers increased compared to year 2013 - the public is generally better to promote the activities of the Ministers.
