The EU has complained to the WTO on Russia
The EU is ready to achieve WTO accession cancellation of the prohibitions of Russia on food imports

According to ITAR-TASS, the European Union is ready to achieve through the world trade organization cancellation Russian bans on food imports.

"Politically motivated scale trade bans are a direct violation of the WTO rules, which the Russian Federation is committed to respect. These measures will be reviewed carefully, after which must be filed with the relevant actions in the WTO". While it is premature to say whether the EU to take retaliatory trade measures.
