Russia and Vietnam are preparing an agreement on creation of free trade zone
Last weekend took place in Vladivostok 17th session of the intergovernmental Russian-Vietnamese Commission for trade-economic and scientific-technical cooperation.

Russia and Vietnam will create a working group on trade in national currencies. This decision was made at the 17th session of the intergovernmental Russian-Vietnamese Commission for trade-economic and scientific-technical cooperation, which was held on 6 September in Vladivostok, reports news Agency PRIME.

"We discussed the mechanism of payments in commercial transactions between the two countries in national currencies. Creation of a working group on trade in national currencies", - said at a briefing following the meeting, the first Vice-Premier of the RF government Igor Shuvalov.

He noted that at the meeting the sides discussed the issues of creating a free trade zone between Vietnam and the Customs Union. According to Shuvalov, the text of the agreement will be ready by the end of the year.

Shuvalov said that the meeting also raised the issue of cooperation between the two countries in energy, construction, oil and gas production, agriculture, science and education.
