In Holland the battle took place rotten tomatoes

In Amsterdam in protest against the restrictions of Russia on the import of food products from the European Union held a "battle of the tomatoes", media reported.

According to the organizers, the idea of a tomato fight was borrowed from the Spanish festival of La Tomatina and connected with Russia imposed an embargo. To provide "ammunition" to one of Amsterdam areas were brought 120 thousand tomatoes that are too long kept and eventually soured.

Entrance ticket to the battle cost 15 euros, were sold about a thousand tickets.
