Combine factory Rostselmash will examine the organization of the joint Assembly production of grain and forage harvesters on the basis of machine-building enterprises of Azerbaijan. Such a possibility is provided for in the Protocol of the 14th meeting of the Azerbaijani-Russian intergovernmental Commission on economic cooperation, signed on Monday in Baku, reports "Interfax".

On behalf of the Commission "Rostselmash" will examine the organization of joint production with the Ministry of industry and trade of Russia and the Ministry of agriculture, Ministry of economy and industry of Azerbaijan. It is also planned to establish a working group on cooperation in the field of agriculture and supply of agricultural products, which will include representatives of agriculture of Russia and Azerbaijan. The group with the participation of business circles of both countries will have to consider the possibility of increasing the supply of agricultural products from Azerbaijan to Russia and to take prompt measures to facilitate this process.

Deputy Director for Economics of JSC "Rostselmash" Alexander Tokmakov said that the question about the organization of the joint Assembly production of grain and forage harvesters on the basis of machine-building enterprises of Azerbaijan is considered since the summer of this year. According to him, "Rostselmash" is going to put in Azerbaijan kits for the Assembly of machinery, representing the entire range of products. Similar to the experience the company already has in cooperation with Kazakhstan.

Azerbaijan will soon will be required to prepare the site of the future joint production.

"Perhaps it is not one plant, but several in order to run the program localization to reduce imports of components from Russia and to organize their production in Azerbaijan. Now we are waiting for proposals for the site attractive for the loading capacity", said Tokmakov. Build harvesters in Azerbaijan, he said, should be established as early as the summer of 2015.
