The Moscow arbitration court at the request of the Moscow Department of Rospotrebnadzor fined retailer Metro Cash & Carry 300 thousand rubles for selling adulterated milk. This is stated in the court decision.

Violations were found in a shop in Moscow on the street Road, 1. Penalty decision made in respect of the Russian legal entity retailer - LLC "Metro cash & carry".

Rospotrebnadzor experts conducted an unscheduled inspection in the store at the request of one of the buyers in may of this year. During the inspection were taken three samples of milk, produced by LLC "Pyatigorsk dairy plant" for laboratory research. According to the results of the research showed that these products did not meet the requirements of technical regulations on milk and dairy products.

"Based on the above data products are milk and deemed adulterated", - is said in the court papers.

In respect of the retailer was drawn up a Protocol on administrative offence, the matter was referred to arbitration.

It was decided not to participate in the proceedings as a third party manufacturer - OOO Pyatigorsk dairy plant"because the seller of the goods in any case obliged to take measures to check the sold goods, which in the present case, the Respondent has not been done", emphasized in the court's decision. The document notes that the implementation of defective products can cause harm to the health of citizens.

Penalty decision made in respect of the Russian legal entity retailer - LLC "Metro cash & carry". Metro Cash & Carry can challenge the decision of the court within 10 days from the date of its adoption.
