The Rosselkhoznadzor has authorized the supply of pork to Russia from Thailand, reports RIA Novosti with reference to the office.

Before that Russia is not imported pork from Thailand, from this country only came poultry meat and offal.

Permission to supply two companies have received - Bangkla Pig Slaughterhouse and Betagro Safety Meat Packing. Approval was obtained from the results of the inspection, which took place from 29 September to 10 October.

To further ensure security of supply in Thailand was seconded expert of the Rosselkhoznadzor, which will be kontrolirovat production and shipment of products intended for the Russian market.

Recall, from August 7, Russia for a year has restricted the import of certain goods from countries that have imposed sanctions against it - USA, EU, Canada, Australia and Norway. In the corresponding list includes beef, pork, fruits, vegetables, poultry, cheeses and dairy products, nuts, and other products.
