The head of the Association of fruit producers Miroslav Maliszewski said that "no country in the world can consume millions of tons of Polish apples", intended for sale to the Russians.
"Perhaps, with the financial support of Poland or Europe, we must find other ways to use these apples, for example, transforming them into biogas," he said.
The rally was attended by over 300 people. In the hands of the protesters could be seen posters with inscriptions "Select salary from politicians and give them to producers of apples.
