The head of the Association of fruit producers Miroslav Maliszewski said that "no country in the world can consume millions of tons of Polish apples", intended for sale to the Russians.

"Perhaps, with the financial support of Poland or Europe, we must find other ways to use these apples, for example, transforming them into biogas," he said.

The rally was attended by over 300 people. In the hands of the protesters could be seen posters with inscriptions "Select salary from politicians and give them to producers of apples.

"Apple protests in Poland took place in August and September. Then Maliszewski said that the Russian embargo has seriously affected the Polish producers, resulting gardeners required "adequate" compensation from the EU.

As reported by the portal Agro2b.ru wrotethat the Polish businessmen, meanwhile, can find salvation for their business in the supply of apples in Belarus, where the fruits will be processed and then exported to Russia.
