Russia has increased the pace of grain exports by 31% compared with last year
As of 29 October 2014 grain exports from Russia, according to the FCS, amounted to 14.6 million tons.

Russia in October 2014 exported 3.1 million tons of grain, according to the Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation with reference to data of the Federal customs service.

The pace of grain exports in 2014-2015 agricultural year (July to June) higher than last year by 31%, said the Ministry. As of 29 October 2014 grain exports amounted to 14.6 million tons, while that for the corresponding period in 2013 was exported to 11.1 million tons.

At the same time on the world grain market also saw an increase in prices due to adverse weather conditions for harvest in some grain-producing countries, indicates the Russian Ministry of agriculture. As at October 30, 2014 the average export price of soft wheat in the United States (FOB, Gulf of Mexico) amounted to 234 USD per ton. During the week the price has increased by 2.6%.

On the Russian grain market in the last week of October there was a tendency to increase prices by 0.4 is 3.5%, due to the weakening of the ruble, as well as adverse weather conditions, says the Ministry of agriculture. Prices for wheat of the 3rd class in the European part of Russia grew by 1.1% to 7 839 thousand rubles per ton, Asian 3.4% to 7 163 thousand rubles per ton.

According to the forecast of the Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation, the volume of grain exports in marketing year 2014-2015 exceed 30 million tons, which would be a historic record in the modern history of Russia.
