The Chechnya Prosecutor's office insists on the detention of the head of a peasant-farming in the region area of the Republic, who is suspected in the theft of about 9 million rubles allocated for the development of horse breeding, told the correspondent of IA REGNUM in the office.

According to the prosecution, the individual entrepreneur prepared obviously false documents on the acquisition of young horses and the construction of animal husbandry, which he presented to the Ministry of agriculture of the Republic. As a result, he was transferred budgetary funds in the amount of 8.9 million. But instead of investing the amount of money on the development of horse breeding, the entrepreneur has cashed the money and ordered them at their own discretion.

Soon against the suspect was prosecuted on charges of fraud and embezzlement of funds on a large scale with the use of his official position, after which he was under house arrest.

In October 2014 the investigating authorities appealed to the district court region district petition suspect election of a preventive measure in the form of detention. However, the trial court refused to satisfy this requirement, explaining the refusal by the lack of data that in the case of finding freedom, Watev may impede the investigation.

Currently, the region Prosecutor's office of the district by a specified court decision made appeals representation about the cancellation of illegal decisions of the court, because the businessman is suspected of committing serious crime. The prosecution is under consideration.
