For the second time in a week, the authorities in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern close the complex one of the largest producers of organic eggs, according to the European office of MAOO "Green Front". Additional investigations of the feed showed a significant excess of maximum allowable concentrations of pesticides only in 5 out of 29 of the samples, the Ministry said. Already at the beginning of this week, the Association of manufacturers Fürstenhof, which includes enterprises, past environmental certification, has decided to suspend the delivery of their bio-eggs. As explained by the head of the Association Friedrich Behrens (Friedrich Behrens), in their own enterprise, it was found that the food is poisoned and in the interests of safety decided to postpone the preparation of goods for sale. Shortly before this, the Ministry had already imposed a ban on the supply of products on the market, but then it was cancelled. Food was imported by the Dutch company from Ukraine directly to enterprises engaged in the production of bio-products. In sunflower meal from Ukraine were detected pesticides thiametoxam and metalaxyl.
