In the city of Strunino Vladimir region company "Center of innovation" one of the first in Russia launched the first production of drip irrigation systems under its own brand name "Green river".

At the opening ceremony of the production was attended by the acting Director of the Department of agriculture and food Administration of the Vladimir region Sergey Laterally, the head of the city Strunino Alexander Dmitriev, Russian and foreign investors. On behalf of the Department of land reclamation Ministry of agriculture of Russia, the event was attended by Director of fgbu "Management "Vladimirmeliovodhoz" Sergei Umnov and Deputy Director of the Russian research Institute of irrigation and agricultural water supply "rainbow" Valery instrument.

The production facility of the company is located in Technopark "Strunino and occupies an area of 15 thousand square meters, the area of industrial premises - 5.5 thousand square meters currently in operation one line of production emitter tape drip irrigation, comparable in quality with the analogs of the world's largest manufacturers. Its performance is measured 150 m per minute, the diameter of the drip tape is 16-20 mm Number of drip per meter reaches 10 pieces. Total production capacity is up to 250 million m p. in the year.

In the short term - the launch of three additional lines. The project planned organization of 12 production lines of drip irrigation systems.

Method of drip irrigation has the advantage over other types of irrigation, because water savings, improved root systems, plant protection, simplification of agronomic technologies, reduce energy and labor costs and enhancing the yield of agricultural products. It will help to increase yields of 2-5 times, saving water and electricity 3 times, the reduction in the consumption of fertilizers in 4 times.

One of the socio-economic effects of the project is to create an additional 500 jobs.
