The Governor of the Ryazan region Oleg Kovalev signed a decree according to which the new head of the Ministry of agriculture and food of the region became Boris Shemyakin, the press service of the regional government.

Since 2009 up to the present time, the new Minister held the post of head of the regional state inspection on veterinary medicine. Boris Shemyakin graduated from the Moscow state Academy of veterinary medicine and biotechnology named Scriabin specialty "veterinary medicine".

For a time he served as chief veterinarian SE "Starozhilovskaja district veterinary station", the head of the animal husbandry Department of agriculture and food administration Starozhilovskogo district, the chief specialist of Department of internal veterinary surveillance Department of the Federal service for veterinary and phytosanitary surveillance in the Ryazan region, the chief veterinarian - veterinary officer Starozhilovskogo district, the chief of Starozhilovskaja district veterinary station".
