"Immediately after harvesting the price of a kilogram of grain was six rubles, then rose to eleven rubles, now on level nine. These jumps should not affect the work of the bakeries edge and on the price of a loaf of bread for consumers", - commented on the initiative of Vladimir Vladimirov.

A similar mechanism was used in the 2008 crisis, the authorities of the capital of the region of Stavropol. Then the grain Fund was created in part due to the city's budget and partly at the expense of borrowed from the Federal reserve of grain. Then the city bakeries received grain at a discounted price.

Theoretically, the reserve may begin to be filled in the next year: the current state of the crops in the Stavropol region is satisfactory, said the officials. First Vice Prime Minister of Stavropol Nikolai Velikden stressed that due to the snow, cold 7-9 January was not harmful to winter in the Stavropol region.
