Dead animals were sent for recycling under the control of the veterinary service. From each animal were sampled. Laboratory studies have ruled out infection as a cause of death.

The head of the region demanded to deal with the situation as soon as possible and to take action up to and removal of animals and transfer them to a bona fide owner.

However, reportedly, the owner of the animals, "Taurus", repeatedly became the object of attention of regulatory authorities. As a result of audits conducted earlier by the veterinary Department of the Voronezh region, identified a number of violations of the legislation of the Russian Federation.
