The attractiveness of sales of grain on the domestic market will increase for producers only if the minimum purchase prices will rise significantly, the situation is different sellers of grain "put him in the barn" and wait, said the President of the Russian grain Union Arkady Zlochevsky, reports news Agency PRIME.

On Tuesday, agriculture Minister Nikolai Fyodorov said that the office intends to increase the minimum purchase price of grain, as well as to increase the export duty on him. The cost of grain 3rd class at the auction of the National commodity exchange when carrying out public procurement interventions in the last week of January was 10-10,5 thousand rubles per ton.

"Interventional trades failed, if the minimum price will be attractive, then maybe this will help sales, but after the introduction of export duties on domestic market attractive was not", - said Zlochevsky. He recalled that before the New year, a ton of wheat of the 3rd class cost of 11.5-12 thousand rubles, and at the moment the price level 14 thousand "would be fair."

According to him, export contracts for February is not yet concluded, as administrative barriers for exporters remained. Exporters fear of penalties for non-performance of contracts. However, according to Zlochevsky, the export duty will not force sellers of grain to actively sell the grain on the domestic market. "Put on barns and let sit, then, of course, some will be forced to throw some volumes," he says.
