The company Uralkali (LSE, MICEX:URKA) informs about the current situation at the mine Solikamsk-2.

As at 06.02.2015 the size of the crater formed to the East of the site Solikamsk-2 increased and are h meters on the surface, the depth of the crater is about 75 meters.

The level of brine inflow to the mine Solikamsk-2 continues to vary. In the period from 11.12.2014 on 21.01.2015 average inflow amounted to about 200 cubic meters per hour. With 22.01.2015 on 06.02.2015 average inflow has increased significantly and amounted to about 820 cubic meters per hour.

The company began dismantling and lifting of mine unused in the works on liquidation of consequences of failure of equipment. In particular, already dismantled and brought to the surface three combine complex "Ural".

According to the plan of liquidation of the accident, "the company continues to conduct comprehensive monitoring of the situation:

controlled water inflow by measuring the level of brine in the mine;

performed monitoring of groundwater levels in wells in the area of the funnel, drilling of an additional hydroalcoholic wells;

is gas monitoring in the area of the funnel and in the mine;

monitored

the development funnel using stationary cameras and unmanned aerial

apparatus;

deployed seismic control district education funnel.

In accordance with the plan of development of mining operations approved by Rostekhnadzor, the company implements a number of measures on localization and liquidation of consequences of the accident:

- is pumping brines from the inflow to the Eastern part of the mine fields in production in the Western part of the mine field to prevent possible flooding of pit space;

- completed the excavation work rassolopodemnyh production;

- work continues on strengthening bridges in development between mine fields mines Solikamsk-1 and Solikamsk-2;

- implemented laying mines to reduce deformation of the rocks.
