Several thousand Polish farmers went out on Thursday to protest in the capital. At the government building in the city centre they are demanding the resignation of the Minister of agriculture and rural development Marek Sawicki.
Among other requirements protesters - compensation for loss of crops by wild boars, the inventory of the market in milk and pork, ban the sale of land to foreigners. In addition, they resent the provision of the Polish government huge sums to help Ukraine with a shortage of funds to support agriculture.
At the government building on one of the main tourist streets protesters intend to break camp to continue the protest, scheduled for a few days. "Green town will appear like the Prime Minister or not", - said the head of one of the trade Union organizations of farmers Slawomir Izdebsky.
According to him, the protesters can completely block the street. "We won't pay attention to the prohibitions. Farmers determined. This fight must be won", he added.
Protests farmers have been going on for two weeks. Every day they block the roads in different regions of the Republic. Last week they tried to call in Warsaw about a thousand tractors to arrange a complete paralysis of the city, however, the intervention of the police did not allow them to do this.
