The Kaliningrad customs officers seized a citizen of Poland more than a ton of fresh pork, which he hid in a cargo minibus "Fiat Ducato". As reported today, April 10, the correspondent of IA REGNUM in the press service of the customs, the driver did not fill in a customs Declaration, telling the inspector about his lack of goods concealed from customs control.

However, as a result of inspection, customs officers found in the cargo Bay of "Fiat" real storehouse of meat. Behind the wooden partition was equipped hiding place, which contained 144 packages of chilled pork, marked "Lopatka wieprzowa" and produced in Poland.

The total weight of the goods was 1008,5 pounds, said the interlocutor of news Agency REGNUM. The van driver explained that the meat does not belong to him, to smuggle goods from Poland to Russia, he was asked unfamiliar compatriot for a cash reward.

The item was returned to Poland, and the vehicle seized. A citizen of Poland initiated a case on an administrative offense under part 2 of article 16.1 of the administrative code ("Concealment of goods from customs control").
