During the meeting, first Deputy Prime Minister of Zabaykalsky Krai Alexey Shemetova with Chinese investors, the decision was made on the signing of a Protocol on the implementation of the project with Zhejiang investment company "Hwa Sinbad". In accordance with the Protocol, the parties shall proceed to study the prospects of implementation of the project will assess the feasibility, risks and conditions of cooperation.

According to the press service, the investor plans to invest about 24 billion rubles in the development of agriculture in the region with the aim of establishing agricultural production on fallow arable land and unused pastures and haymaking. At this stage assesses the prospects of participation of municipalities in the implementation of the project, to identify sites for implementation and to hold public hearings with residents of rural settlements.

In the case of a positive decision, the parties will discuss the practical implementation of the project and will sign agreements on cooperation. The prerequisite of the agreement will be the creation of the modern crop, livestock and processing industries with environmentally friendly technologies. The share of involvement of the local labour force should be not less than 75% of newly created jobs.
