The Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev has appointed Evgeny Gromyko first Deputy Minister of agriculture of the Russian Federation.

The government decree about it was signed on 23 July 2015

Prior to his appointment Gromyko was represented in the Council of Federation Krasnodar region. To nominate a Senator, he served as Vice-Governor of Krasnodar region, when the region was headed by the current Minister of agriculture of Russia Alexander Tkachev.

We will remind that Evgenie Gromyko went to work in the Federation Council in January 2014, he was a member of the Committee for agrarian and food policy and environmental management.

In 2009-2011 he served as Deputy Governor of the Krasnodar territory, which at that time was Tkachev. Also Gromyko worked in various positions in the company "Agrocomplex", which was founded by the father of Alexander Tkachev and which, according to participants in the agricultural market, belongs to the members of his family.
