The ASF epidemic afflicting the economy of Estonia has not yet been brought under control. At the emergency meeting of the Commission on rural life of the Estonian Parliament on 27 July, the Ministry of agriculture of the country petition the government about the allocation of budget 2015, an additional 4.5 million euros to combat and eliminate the consequences of the epidemic of African swine fever. This was reported today by the Estonian Radio 4 with reference to the Minister of agriculture, member of the ruling right-wing liberal Reformist party Urmas Kruuse.

It is reported that the day before it became known that the plague has infected pig another pig farm in the country — third. It is located in Viljandi County (South Estonia) close to the largest pig farm in the country and the Baltic States Ekseko.
