Kyrgyzstan joined the Eurasian economic Union. This will give a new impetus to its development, the statement of the Eurasian economic Commission on Wednesday.

From that moment there was a cancellation of customs control on all eight checkpoints on the Kyrgyz-Kazakh state border and on the territory of Kyrgyzstan entered into force on the common customs tariff and a unified commodity nomenclature of foreign economic activity of the Eurasian economic Union, as well as uniform requirements for the products specified in technical regulations of the customs Union.

"The accession of Kyrgyzstan gives new impetus to the development potential of the Union (EEU — ed.). Integration strengthens its position in the global economic architecture" — said in a statement.

The document notes that the accession of Kyrgyzstan to the EAEC , "was the result of a large collaboration on integration convergence". "In 2014 have been implemented roadmap for Kyrgyzstan's accession to the Eurasian integration project, which facilitated the adaptation of the economy to the legislation and practices of the EEU. In particular, it was resolved a whole range of issues related to the modernization of customs infrastructure objects", — said the EEC.

According to the Commission "the entry into the EEU opens for Kyrgyzstan new perspectives".

"Remove barriers to the movement of goods, services, capital and workforce. Open new investment opportunities and prospects of the implementation of major infrastructure projects, primarily in the areas of energy, transport and agriculture. Citizens of Kyrgyzstan have the right to work in any state of the Union on the same terms as the citizens of the state of employment", — noted in the EEC.
