Acting Minister of agriculture of the Samara region suspected of negligence, reported SUSK of the Russian Federation on region.

"Criminal case concerning the acting as the Minister of agriculture and food of the Samara region – head of the Department of Economics and Finance of the Ministry of agriculture and food of the Samara region suspected of committing crimes under part 1 of article 293 of the RF criminal code "Negligence", — stated in the message.

According to investigators, on August 5, 2014 the suspect, being the Deputy Minister of agriculture and food of the Samara region, approved the revised plan of financial and economic activity of the state budgetary institution "Scientific research Institute of horticulture and medicinal plants "Zhigulevskie gardens".

As stated in the regional SUSK, according to the plan, the funds received from the sale of property owned by the Samara region and located in the operational management of the state budgetary institution, had been illegally used and directed to the current expenses of the institution. The regional budget funds are not received.

According to the UK, as a result of the negligence of the official budget of the Samara region suffered damage amounting to more than 7 million rubles. The measure of restraint to the suspect has not been elected.
