Corporation of development of the Far East (CRD) has signed agreements with three new residents of the free port of Vladivostok for the sum more than 4 billion rubles, the investors plan to upgrade the port in Nakhodka, to grow rice and to start the production of lamps, said Saturday in a press-service CRD.

"The residents invest in the economy of Primorsky Krai 4,082 billion and will create more than 320 new jobs," - said the press service.

In particular, the company "Terra", which plans to produce electric lamps and lighting equipment, intends to continue to place large-scale production in the top Nadezhdinskiy. It is expected that the company's products will be used including for major infrastructure projects.

"Nakhodka sea fishing port" intends to conduct a large-scale reconstruction and modernization of the port. "We will create a modern multifunctional transshipment complex, including a fridge-freezer (ORC), with the advanced technology and equipment, competitive for acceptance and processing of fishing vessels to increase the volume of transshipment, storage and processing of fish products. The new resident company "Rus Food plans to grow rice on the area of 1,200 hectares in the village of Vladimiro-Petrovka, Khanka district. The company intends to invest about 82 million rubles in the purchase of agricultural machinery, construction of transit sites and residential units for workers.

The regime of the free port of Vladivostok was introduced on 12 October 2015 on the territory of the 15 municipalities of Primorye. The total area of the territory, which covers economic area is 28.4 thousand square km and home To 1.4 million people (75% of the population of the region).
